Orange sticks in people’s minds. Our new CE has been on board about 3 weeks and is slowly getting to know staff – except for me (he’s come to know who I am very quickly) as I’ve subjected him to orange very early on by sending my boss up for her introductory meeting with some material for him printed on orange paper. Just a few moments ago he made a special visit to the 5th floor, and a special visit to my desk to say that he’d seen a piece in the Wellingtonian last night about fashion and that orange was ‘in’. So – can’t say I have the attention of the CE because of nepotism any more!!!

Have guiltily swapped to Revive coffee beans of late. Have been a huge Supreme user for years but as circumstance would have it lately we’ve had to get our coffee beans from Moore Wilson’s rather than the Supreme shop itself and out of all the beans stocked, Revive are consistently the freshest. They keep well and make a damn fine cuppa.
Honestly nothing to do with their orange branding.

My beloved orange possum merino gloves that I got 3 or 4 winters ago have both thumbs darned (and I’m not very good at darning) and wool as thin as hair on the index fingers. It’s very said. The company has introduced new colours – blueberry, pink, powder blue, maroon … but never again have I seen orange ones. Until today! Except they were large …
But, as luck would have it, when scratching through the glove box in the store I found 2 other pairs of orange gloves, not quite as good as the my possum merino ones, but nevertheless, I snapped them up as they seem to be a rarity.
