Bomb scare at British High Commission

UPDATED REPORT – 12.25pm
A series of hoax e-mail messages is believed to have led to a bomb scare at the British High Commission near Parliament in Wellington today … police were called and a small section of Hill Street, where the high commission is situated, was cordoned off late this morning.

A spokeswoman for Sacred Heart School in Guildford Tce, which runs off Hill Street, said the school had been advised police were investigating a bomb scare.
