Such is the wonder of technology that instead of opening the mail box after work and finding a dog-eared postcard with smudged writing and a foreign stamp that’s taken 2 weeks to travel from the other side of the world that you can open your email in the morning and find a real-time photo texted from your friend sitting on a balcony overlooking the town of Positano on the Italian east coast!
